Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce classroom behavior and procedures.
• Observe and evaluate student progress and behavior.
• Prepare materials and adapt teaching methods for diverse needs.
• Plan and conduct a balanced program of instruction and activities.
• Instruct individually and in groups using various teaching methods.
• Communicate objectives to students and assess progress.
• Confer with parents, teachers, and administrators on student needs and progress.
• Maintain accurate student records and organize classroom resources.
• Collaborate with staff to develop, evaluate, and revise school programs.
• Use technology and AV aids to enhance presentations.
• Supervise teaching assistants and volunteers when applicable.
