Job summary

Region 18 Education Service Center seeks a qualified teacher to provide students with engaging learning activities in the core academic subject area. This role reports to the Campus Principal and requires collaboration with special education staff to meet diverse student needs.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, a valid Texas teaching certificate, and demonstrate competency in the assigned subject.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned.
Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans that reflect district curriculum and accommodate differences in learners.
Plan and use appropriate instructional strategies and materials aligned with TEA guidelines.
Conduct assessment of student learning styles and use results to plan activities.
Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEPs.
Set instructional goals with staff and assign tasks to aides/volunteers.
Be a positive role model and support the school mission.
Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement through formal and informal testing.
Sponsor extracurricular activities and participate in faculty meetings.
