Job summary

St. Anthony-New Brighton School District in Minnesota is seeking a dedicated High School Teacher to develop lesson plans and deliver district curriculum for assigned subjects under the Building Principal. You will assess student progress, collaborate with staff, and engage families to support learning.

This exempt, part-time role runs 6 hours per week for about four weeks with an ASAP start. Salary is $44.84/hour, with placement aligned to the SAVEA contract and district guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Education or relevant instructional subject area.
• Licensed teachers in the State of MN with appropriate licensure for assigned areas of responsibility or proof of pending approved licensure.
• Prior successful experience student teaching or teaching in an urban, multicultural education setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop instructional plans, lessons, and activities to present approved district curriculum.
• Provide instruction at appropriate difficulty levels and assess student progress.
• Enter and maintain accurate grade records and conduct parent–teacher conferences.
• Monitor and manage student behavior and supervise paraprofessionals and volunteers.
• Collaborate with educational professionals and administrators on student needs and curriculum development.
• Communicate with students and families about progress and participate in district meetings.
