Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years teaching experience in an urban public or charter school setting preferred.
• Licensure or certification not required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Teach English, Math, Science or History to high school students.
• Collaborate with department members on curriculum refinement and implementation.
• Design and implement rigorous assessments that evaluate student mastery of standards.
• Create a safe learning environment and uphold school mission.
• Provide coverage during non-instructional time and support the Excel community.
