Job Summary
  • Teach curriculum related to Vehicle Services and Advanced Vehicle Services.
  • Perform responsibilities as defined by the master contract and the principal.
  • Maintain effective communication and cooperation with staff and parents.
Qualifications
  • Licensed by the State of Minnesota to teach Transportation Careers, Auto Body Repair, Auto Mechanics, and/or Vehicle Services, or willing to obtain a community expert license.
  • Strong academic background.
  • Positive relations with students, staff, and community.
  • Ability to instruct and develop students’ understanding and skills in transportation careers, including vehicle services such as auto mechanics, small engine or recreational vehicle repair, and auto body service.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and organized automotive shop.
  • Ability to teach customer service skills and professional standards for vehicle service careers.
  • NATEF accreditation experience preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse school communities preferred.
Responsible To

Building Principal and the State and Federal Programs Specialist.
