Job summary

Wayne High School Swim is seeking an Assistant Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves instructing and supervising all swim practices and games, with expectation to work with a diverse student body and engage with parents and staff.

Position may be prorated based on start date. Preference given to candidates with high school coaching experience and the ability to obtain SPB/Minibus certification before the season.

Qualifications

• Prefer candidate who will be teaching at Wayne High School for the 2026-2027 school year.
• If applicant is a FWCS teacher, the teacher must fulfill their daily contracted hours before coaching.
• If not an FWCS teacher, candidate must be available at 3:30 Monday through Friday afternoons.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and supervise all athletic practices and games.
• Work effectively with students from multicultural backgrounds and with parents, teachers, and administrators.
• Maintain high expectations academically and athletically.
• Coordinate with head coaches and assistants; utilize and organize coaching staff.
