One (1) Student Assistance Coordinator and Substitute

Qualifications:
  • Must be a current employee of the Paterson Public Schools
  • Must hold NJ certification as a Student Assistance Coordinator.
  • Currently employed as a Student Assistance Coordinator.
  • Must have knowledge and experience of the Crisis Intervention Manual and Student Assistance
  • Must have experience working with students in grades K - 8th.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and moral character
  • Must be a critical thinker, problem solver, and respectable.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills.
  • Exhibit a personality that demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.
  • Proficient with Google Suite System
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, administrators, and community.
  • Must be able to work on all scheduled days and hours of the program.
  • Qualified candidates must apply on the Frontline System
  • Support additional school programs as needed.

Mandatory Pre-Program PD: June 2025 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM - Date TBD
Program Dates/Times: July 7, 2025 — August 7, 2025
Monday - Thursday (No Fridays)
Time: 8:15 AM — 3:30 PM (7.25 Hours/Day)
