Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all sport-specific athletes and activities to ensure programs of high standards.
• Conduct self in a professional manner and serve as a role model for other coaches and student athletes.
• Work with the head coach to ensure practice periods stay within CHSAA guidelines.
• Promote communication between schools and community to support program improvements.
• Attend all sport practices and games.
• Assist during summer athletic camp activities to promote the sport.
• Maintain equipment inventory and upkeep under jurisdiction.
• Communicate training rules and regulations to athletes; relay information to administration and media.
• Maintain public relations with media, booster clubs, parents, officials, volunteers, and opponents.
