Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Must meet current Federal Department of Education requirements.
• Prior successful experience in a school setting or with special needs students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructional staff in a school setting with tasks in large and small groups.
• Support students individually or in groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Assist with record keeping, attendance, and related paperwork.
• Administer medications as directed by licensed staff within policy.
• Escort and supervise students during activities and transitions.
• Prepare materials and communicate with parents as directed.
