Job summary

DOUGLAS ESD GLENDALE SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a High School Special Education Assistant to support students with diverse needs. You will assist instructional staff, track IEP data, supervise students, help with meals and classroom setup, and communicate with families as needed.

This part-time role begins immediately for the 2026-27 year, with a pay rate of $16.10–$20.54 per hour based on experience, in Glendale, Oregon.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent or 1–2 years of related experience.
• Must meet current Federal Department of Education requirements.
• Preferred experience in school or with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instruction in groups or one-on-one to reinforce learning.
• Track IEP data as directed.
• Assist with meal prep for students.
• Support students with activities and transitions.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete required paperwork.
• Administer medications under supervision.
