Qualifications

• Education degree in Special Education or related field.
• Training or experience: completed student teaching.

Responsibilities

• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials meeting curriculum goals and IEPS.
• Translates lesson plans into individualized learning experiences.
• Establishes classroom behavior standards and collects data for behavior plans.
• Communicates with parents and staff to discuss learner progress and IEPs.
• Participates in curriculum development and district programs.
