Job summary

The North Penn School District is seeking a Special Education Teacher at North Penn High School to support students with disabilities by delivering instruction aligned to individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Instruction will target PA Core standards with differentiated lessons, ongoing progress monitoring, and collaboration with IEP teams to ensure inclusion and district goals are met. 7.5 hours/day, 37.5 hours/week, 191 days/year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education and PA certification required.
• Ability to direct a classroom and plan lessons.
• Ability to interact effectively with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Meets and instructs assigned classes in locations and times designated.
• Prepares for classes and shows written evidence of preparation upon request.
• Plans differentiated lessons aligned to PA Core and approved courses.
• Implements Danielson Framework in teaching practice.
• Maintains student records and monitors IEP goals and progress.
• Collaborates with IEP team members to address student needs.
