Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified to teach high school English Language Arts (grades 9–12).
• Experience differentiating instruction for diverse learners.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff, administration and parents.
• Previous high school teaching experience, preferably in special education.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver dynamic ELA lessons aligned with state standards and foster engagement.
• Evaluate and monitor student progress, maintaining records and tailoring instruction from assessments.
• Identify strategies to support diverse learners with individualized instruction and support.
• Cultivate a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to growth.
• Work collegially with staff and communicate regularly with families to support student success.
