Job summary

Palmyra Area School District is seeking a High School Softball Assistant Coach for the Spring 2027 season. This is a paid supplemental contract up to $4,345. The successful candidate will coach and mentor student-athletes, promoting integrity and a passion for softball.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching or collegiate level of play is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of coaching softball.
• Ability to interact and motivate student-athletes of varying skill levels.
• Evidence of effective leadership.
• Must be student-oriented and organized.
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance and direction of the Athletic Director and Head Coach, implement the softball program's vision.
• Submit a letter of interest and resume.
• If hired, clearances (PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal Record Check, FBI Background Check) will be required.
