Position Overview:

Farmington High School is seeking a Social Studies Teacher (One Year, Full Time) starting August 2025.

General Description:

Teachers are expected to provide effective instruction that ensures students acquire core content knowledge, skills, and the competencies outlined in the FPS Vision of the Global Citizen. They focus on the development of the whole child, tailoring instruction to meet psychological, social, and intellectual needs. As collaborative team members, teachers build relationships with colleagues, parents, and students, working together to promote academic and personal growth. All teachers must demonstrate adherence to CT’s Code of Professional Responsibility.
