Qualifications

Coaching experience at high school or college level.
CPR and First Aid training completed or enrolled in.
Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee for Loudoun County Public Schools.
Virginia Teaching License candidate or classified employee status preferred.

Responsibilities

Work cooperatively with the head athletic coach to operate a well‑structured program.
Work cooperatively with the athletic department.
Attend all staff meetings prescribed by the head athletic coach during the season.
Carry out specific duties designated by the head athletic coach.
Recommend equipment and supplies needed for the program implementation.
Recommend disciplinary actions regarding players violating training rules and procedures.
Foster sportsmanship and pride for the school and community among athletes.
Perform other duties related to the assistant athletic coach position as requested by the high school principal and/or athletic director.
