Job summary

AnthroMed Education seeks a dedicated High School Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year in the Brighton Area. The full-time SLP will be the sole SLP in the building, collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and administration to support academic success and post-secondary readiness.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Michigan SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience working with school-aged children.
  • Knowledge of IDEA and IEP development.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate students' speech-language abilities and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide high-quality direct speech-language therapy services aligned with IEPs.
  • Conduct assessments, analyze results, and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Address needs in speech, language, fluency, voice, pragmatics, and oral motor skills.
  • Use evidence-based research and professional literature to guide clinical decisions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team meetings, and problem-solving discussions.
  • Collaborate with instructional staff using strength-based, child- and family-centered practices.
  • Ensure compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Support teachers in identifying and referring students with speech and language concerns.
  • Other duties as assigned.
