Job summary

AB Staffing is seeking a qualified Sign Language Interpreter for a high school near Gurnee, IL. This part-time role (20 hours per week) runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, providing 1:1 classroom interpreting support and ensuring equal access to education for deaf or hard-of-hearing students.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in school-based interpreting preferred.
• Must meet one of the listed ISBE/EIPA/NIC/BEI credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpreting services throughout the instructional day.

• Support student participation in classroom instruction and activities.
