DREAM is seeking a Teacher to join our NYC-based schools and partner with a co-teacher to deliver a Common Core-aligned curriculum. You will analyze data with grade teams and support staff to drive instruction while building a positive school culture for all learners.

Reporting to the Academic Dean, you will engage families, participate in IEP processes, and uphold high expectations to help scholars succeed inside and outside the classroom.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• New York State certification in subject area preferred.
• At least two years of teaching experience with record of improving student achievement preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to working with diverse populations of families and students.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with co-teacher to foster a culture where all students achieve at high levels.
• Implement a Common Core-aligned curriculum with backwards planning and rubrics.
• Participate in grade team meetings, Student Support Meetings, IEP Meetings, and professional development.
• Monitor academic progress and analyze data to inform instruction.
• Set high expectations and build strong relationships with scholars and families.
• Work with Student Culture Team to create individual plans when needed.
• Maintain a warm, inclusive classroom and adhere to behavior plans.
• Collaborate with teams to analyze data, align practices, and discuss scholars' progress.
