Job Description

Specific duties, qualifications, and responsibilities include:

• Develop instructional plans to meet the academic needs of all students.
• Establish clear learning goals and objectives daily.
• Follow and implement all school policies and procedures.
• Complete student records in accordance with school, NCDPI, and OCS regulations.
• Attend monthly staff meetings.
• Administer tests in compliance with NCDPI or national standards.
• This position requires in-person attendance and is essential for daily school operations.
• Adhere to state statutes, including 115C-307, regarding teacher duties such as maintaining discipline, promoting student well-being, providing medical care, teaching thoroughly, participating in professional growth, discouraging nonattendance, making reports, and caring for school property.
