Responsibilities

• Interacts with students to encourage each individual to perform at their highest level.
• Manages all building staff personnel.
• Assigns teachers to classrooms and students to classes in accordance with site based policies.
• Completes performance evaluation on all staff.
• Resolves staff problems and provides support for teachers.
• Provides general supervision to students.
• Supervises extra curricular activities.
• Evaluates all programs.
• Provides in-service training to teachers and staff as needed.
• Works with the school council to develop a school budget and manages the budget.
• Implements policy and procedure changes from the School Council, the School Board or the Department of Education.
• Other duties that may be assigned.
