Job summary

Byron Center Public Schools in Michigan is seeking a High School Premier Substitute Teacher to report to BCHS daily and sub in classrooms as needed. You will provide instruction and supervision of students and uphold strong classroom management.

You will monitor hallways, participate in extracurricular activities, keep records, attend conferences, and work as a team with administration. Michigan certification required; NCLB qualifications must be met. EDUStaff daily rate applies.

Qualifications

• Michigan Certification and Endorsement for appropriate grade levels required.
• Must meet all of the NCLB qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain classroom management and be a role model.
• Utilize formative assessment.
• Monitor hallways and school grounds.
• Be involved in after-school and extracurricular activities.
• Keep accurate classroom records.
• Attend conferences and workshops to keep current.
• Work as a team member.
• Supervision of students as needed; when a sub is not needed, other duties will be assigned by administration.
