Qualifications

• Experience teaching K-12 students; two years preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with a GPA ≥ 3.0; Master’s degree preferred.
• RI certification or in the process of obtaining certification.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, achievement-oriented and structured learning environment.
• Build classroom community by partnering with families to support academic and personal growth.
• Use data from interim assessments to drive instruction and interventions.
• Implement unit and lesson plans with the grade or subject team.
• Model AF’s core values in interactions with students, families and colleagues.
• Collaborate with coach, grade-level chair and school team to improve instructional, culture-building and leadership skills.
• Attend all professional development, team planning and data analysis meetings.
