Job summary

Arlington ISD seeks a Secondary Photography Teacher to develop and deliver engaging instruction aligned to TEA standards. You will plan lessons, assess student progress and foster skills in photography for real-world applications.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate or eligibility for alternative certification. Prior photography experience is preferred; local permits may be applicable.

• An assignment for Photography is allowed with appropriate certificates
• Photography experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Meet and instruct assigned classes as scheduled in the district.
• Develop and implement lesson plans for the Photography program.
• Prepare lessons and adapt curriculum for diverse learners.
• Communicate objectives and assess student progress regularly.
• Present content per TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Provide opportunities for students to offer photography services to the school and community.
