Job summary

The ideal candidate will deliver engaging PE instruction, develop standards-based lessons, and foster an inclusive classroom culture. Responsibilities include collaboration with staff, parent communication, and involvement in school

Qualifications

• NJ CE, CEAS, or Standard teaching certification (or eligibility)
• Criminal history background check required
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and standards-based instruction
• Develop and implement lesson plans reflecting student needs and curriculum goals
• Establish a classroom culture that promotes learning, respect, and high expectations
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities
• Assess and track student performance; provide feedback and intervention as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership
• Participate in professional development sessions and school-wide initiatives
• Support school events, field trips, and community-building activities
• Complete administrative responsibilities including attendance, grading, and lesson planning
• Adhere to all school, district, and network policies and procedures
