Job summary

A valid ISBE license with a Content Area Endorsement is required, and familiarity with Google Suite is preferred. Starting salary is $70,000 with full-time, regular employment and an October 2026 start date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid ISBE teaching license or enrollment in a certification program within 30 days.
• Content Area Endorsement in Physical Education and Health.
• Proficiency with Google Suite and cloud-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction aligned to grade-level standards.
• Provide frequent checks for understanding and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Maintain organized records of student progress and communicate with families.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture focused on equity and student growth.
