Job summary

Tempe Union High School District 213 is seeking a Paraprofessional Special Education for a 9-month, 0.8750 FTE role. The paraprofessional will assist teachers and staff in providing educational support to students in a high school setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, and eligibility under Paraprofessional Highly Qualified criteria (test, 60 college credits, or an Associate's degree or higher). CPR/First Aid certification training is provided by the District.

Qualifications

• Experience working directly with students in a high school instructional setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Paraprofessional Highly Qualified: choose one—passing score on approved paraprofessional test, 60 college credits, or an Associate's degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• The Paraprofessional position assists, supports, and works closely with teachers, administrators and other team members in providing educational assistance to students.
