Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 36 college credits or completion of a 20-hour substitute cert course preferred.
• Missouri Substitute Certificate preferred; see Missouri DESE details.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with disabilities according to individualized needs.
• Provide social, physical, and academic support in general and special education settings.
• Support in cafeteria, classrooms, recess, and assemblies.
• Assist with transfers, lifting, positioning, and basic physical care as needed.
• Record-keeping, data entry, and classroom supply management.
• Maintain confidentiality and support IEP implementation.
