Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Outreach Athletic Trainer to provide day-to-day medical coverage in the high school outreach setting, supporting Hough High School in Cornelius. You will perform clinical evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play decisions, manage head injuries, and collaborate with physicians and coaches to ensure athlete safety.

Requirements include BOC certification and state licensure, CPR/AED, and availability for after-school and evening hours

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or CAATE-accredited athletic training program preferred.
• Minimum Bachelor’s in related field.
• Current athletic training certification (BOC) and applicable state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day athletic training coverage in high school outreach.
• Perform evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation and return-to-play decisions.
• Manage head injuries and concussions; coordinate referrals to clinicians.
