Job summary

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services for a local school district in Royersford, PA.

Caseload: High School. Plan and deliver therapy aligned with IEP goals, screen and document progress, and collaborate with teachers, families, and the school team. This is a 1099 contract position offering on-site mentorship and supportive teamwork.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Valid state license as an Occupational Therapist is required.
• Child Abuse, Federal, and State Clearances are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide specialized therapy techniques through individual and/or group sessions to meet educational goals in IEPs.
• Screen, evaluate, and document student levels, strengths, needs, and progress using approved instruments.
• Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings to evaluate and revise therapy interventions and goals.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to plan classroom-based activities for carry-over of skills.
• Provide consultative services to involve parents in the therapy program.
• Maintain reports and documents per laws and school policy, including equipment/materials documentation.
• Meet student needs by partnering with other disciplines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of school-based therapy practices.
