Job summary

Central Ohio Youth for Christ seeks a High School Ministry Coordinator to lead the City Life Center program, build relationships with students, and coach staff and volunteers. You will develop engaging curricula and partner with local schools to create meaningful faith-based experiences.

You will also mentor students, recruit volunteers, and help oversee trips and events, while modeling a Christ-centered life and advancing COYFC’s mission in the community.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for Jesus Christ and sharing the Gospel with youth.
• Strong desire to build authentic relationships with high school students.
• Leadership experience with youth or ministry teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recruit, motivate, coach, and develop volunteers.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to ministry.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and administrative tasks.
• Commitment to COYFC's mission and Statement of Faith.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and ministry events.

Responsibilities

• Lead and co-lead the City Life Center High School Ministry, providing leadership to staff and volunteers.
• Build meaningful relationships with high school students through relational ministry actions, clubs, Bible studies, mentoring, and outreach.
• Develop and implement quality programming and curriculum to engage students and expand ministry outreach.
• Recruit, equip, coach, and supervise staff and volunteer leaders.
• Lead in-school mentoring groups and programs at local high schools.
• Develop partnerships with local schools, churches, and community organizations.
• Model Christ-centered character and actively share the Gospel with students.
• Track attendance, maintain ministry data, and use reporting to guide ministry decisions.
• Champion and implement COYFC's Essentials and Holistic Ministry Model.
