Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI) is seeking a full-time high school math teacher for a residential clinical setting. You will deliver engaging instruction focused on problem solving, mathematical reasoning, and real-world applications to students with significant emotional/behavioral needs.

You will develop and monitor IEPs, work with a management team to ensure safety and supportive guidance, and collaborate across departments in a year-round program.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Teaching or Education and RI teaching certification.
• Experience with children with behavioral/psychiatric challenges.
• Spanish speaking preferred and compensated.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging mathematics instruction focused on problem solving and real-world applications.
• Develop and monitor student IEPs in accordance with regulations.
• Collaborate with management to ensure safety, stability and guidance for students.
