Qualifications

• Must possess a bachelor’s degree and certification required by the Bureau of Indian Education and the State of Iowa.
• Experience teaching high school math is preferred.
• Ability to plan and organize lessons and activities to meet diverse student needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize learning activities with attention to individual differences and needs.
• Adopt teaching strategies suited to each student’s educational needs.
• Maintain classroom order in cooperation with the Principal and staff.
• Create a positive, secure climate to support learning and achievement.
• Report on student progress to parents/guardians regularly.
• Prepare daily and yearly curricular plans and keep records of student progress.
