Job summary

Queens Mesivta is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced High School Math Teacher to teach Algebra I, Algebra II, or Geometry in New York. You will motivate students across regular and honors-level courses, promote critical thinking, and guide them toward academic achievement both in and beyond high school.

The role involves planning lessons, preparing materials, and delivering engaging instruction while maintaining records and reporting progress.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university.
• Masters degree or NY State teaching certification preferred.
• Experience in high school math instruction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials for Algebra I, Algebra II, or Geometry.
• Teach Regents Exam preparation and both Regular and Honors classes with engaging, rigorous curricula.
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment; provide feedback on work.
