Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a secondary (9-12) Mathematics endorsement.
• Strong knowledge of high school mathematics curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal communication skills.
• Commitment to equity and culturally responsive teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver standards-aligned math lessons.
• Establish a safe, respectful classroom culture with clear expectations.
• Design formative and summative assessments and analyze data to differentiate instruction.
• Integrate technology to enhance instruction (Google Classroom, MathXL).
• Collaborate with PLCs, departments, and district to align curriculum.
• Communicate with students, parents, and counselors regarding progress.
