Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Valid or eligible New Jersey Mathematics teaching certification.
• Experience teaching mathematics, preferably in a K–12 setting.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics content, curriculum, and strategies.
• Ability to use assessment data to inform instruction and monitor progress.
• Strong classroom management, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to differentiate and scaffold instruction for diverse learners.
• Commitment to supporting analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-aligned mathematics instruction using research-based strategies.
• Create a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Assess student learning and use data to guide instruction.
• Analyze student work to identify needs and develop interventions.
• Differentiate and scaffold instruction to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to strengthen math instruction.
• Model effective math instructional strategies and support colleagues as needed.
• Participate in instructional reviews and assist with intervention planning.
• Collaborate with leadership teams to identify strengths and improvement areas.
• Support school improvement goals related to mathematics achievement.
• Maintain accurate student records and professional relationships.
