Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Valid Pennsylvania Certification: Mathematics Grades 7-12 or confirmed pathway to certification.
• Master's Degree in Education or a related field is desired.
• 2+ years of teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute developmentally appropriate math lessons; differentiate instruction and implement IEP accommodations/modifications.
• Maintain courses to high standards; adjust lessons and assessments as necessary.
• Gather resources to address/state standards in lessons, instructional materials and assessments.
• Regularly monitor attendance and monitor/analyze assessment data to support instructional decisions.
• Provide timely feedback to students to support mastery of content.
• Collaborate with department and peers to ensure instructional effectiveness and alignment with student outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records in student information systems.
