Job Summary

Eastside Catholic School is seeking a High School Math teacher to join the Math Department for the 2026-27 school year. The successful candidate is an educator who will foster students' understanding and appreciation of mathematics while creating an engaging, supportive classroom environment. Specific Responsibilities

• Establish clear objectives for assigned lessons, learning targets and projects and communicate these to students, following the department's curriculum
• Collaborate with the Math Department to align curriculum while conveying new ideas and best practices
• Plan and teach five math sections across all levels, from on-level and honors through AP, using best pedagogical practices
• Develop the curriculum materials, syllabus, outlines and assessments in alignment with the department
• Monitor and assess each student's development and progress in a fair and consistent manner
• Participate in all faculty, department and committee meetings as required
• Serve as a mentor teacher to a group of 15-20 students

Requirements
