  • Check for understanding regularly and adjust instruction based on student work and assessment results.

  • Help students apply mathematics to real-world situations and explain their reasoning.
  • Maintain a classroom environment that supports engagement, respectful behavior, and productive work habits.
  • Keep accurate records of grades, attendance, and student progress.
  • Communicate with students, families, counselors, and administrators about academic progress and concerns.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum, assessments, interventions, and school improvement efforts.
  • Implement applicable accommodations and support plans.
  • Participate in professional learning, faculty meetings, and other assigned school responsibilities.

  • Maintain a classroom environment that supports engagement, respectful behavior, and productive work habits.
