Our proven program includes a STEAM-based curriculum recognized by the White House as a leader in early childhood STEAM education, and we are the first California school to earn the Carnegie Science Seal of Excellence for STEM.

We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated High School Mathematics teacher to join our dynamic and growing high school. • Foster a deep appreciation for mathematical reasoning by emphasizing conceptual understanding and real-world applications.
  • Cultivate intellectual curiosity and a growth mindset by encouraging students to think critically and tackle complex problems.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to create meaningful interdisciplinary learning experiences.
  • Utilize innovative teaching methods, including project-based learning and real-world problem-solving.
  • Communicate proactively with students and families, providing meaningful feedback and fostering strong relationships.
  • Engage beyond the classroom by advising students and leading extracurricular activities.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion by fostering an inclusive learning environment.
  • Actively participate in school life, including chaperoning events and serving on committees.

Our high school teachers are passionate, engaging, and innovative, and our students are motivated, inquisitive, and eager to grow. If you are excited about the opportunity to shape the future of mathematics education and inspire the next generation of problem-solvers, we encourage you to apply.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in a field of study related to math.
  • A minimum of two years of teaching experience at the high school and/or college level.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • A readiness to explore innovative teaching strategies and formats.
  • Eager to foster supportive relationships with students.
  • A commitment to engage collaboratively with colleagues in curriculum development.
  • A commitment to continuous professional growth and enthusiasm for lifelong learning.
  • An ability to create and promote an inclusive learning environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Additional Information:
