Fort Dodge Community School District Fort Dodge Senior High School - Fort Dodge, IA is seeking a Full Time Substitute Math Teacher for the high school. Under the supervision of the building principal, the candidate will deliver high-quality instruction and supervision to meet academic and social-emotional needs.

The role requires current Iowa substitute authorization, responsiveness to district goals, and the ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Current substitute authorization through the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners.
• Knowledge of current teaching methods and pedagogy enabling differentiation.
• Ability to use computer networks and software applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and coworkers.

Responsabilités

• Develops and administers curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Creates a welcoming and engaging learning environment for all students.
• Maintains a safe classroom and supports individualized instruction and student learning.
• Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and translates lesson plans into learning experiences.
• Performs ongoing assessment of student learning and adjusts instruction for individual needs.
• Keeps accurate records of student achievement and attendance as required by district procedures.
• Communicates with parents and involves them in students' education.
