Job summary

A local math education provider in Fuquay-Varina seeks a passionate Math Instructor to teach K-12 students. This role offers flexible hours after school and on weekends, competitive salary, and paid training. Ideal candidates are college students with strong math skills and an eagerness to learn. The position includes both in-center and online teaching using proven methodologies.

Qualifications

• Must have finished Calculus.
• All applicants will take a math literacy test.
• Willingness to learn and be trained.
• Strong math foundation up to Algebra I is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method.
• Teach high school students, including SAT/ACT Math.
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement.
• Assess students’ progress and engagement throughout sessions.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.

We are looking to quickly hire to teach Elementary and Middle school kids. Paid training will be provided, and you can start teaching immediately. You must have at least finished Calculus, be enrolled in 2 or 4 years of college, or have solid knowledge of Math.
College students are encouraged to apply
Be consistent, and we are willing to work around your schedule, but be ready to work 6-8 hours a week.

What you will do as a Math instructor:

• Teach in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
• Teach high school students, including SAT/ACT Math
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes
