Job summary

KIPP Columbus is seeking an Assistant School Leader to join the High School leadership team. This role partners with the School Leader to drive instructional excellence, equity, and joyful learning for all students in the Columbus area.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of lead teaching or school leadership experience, with a track record of improving student outcomes and adult leadership. Compensation includes a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of lead teaching or equivalent school leadership experience.
• Experience coaching adults and leading teams in a fast-moving school environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, judgment, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Model educator and coach to strengthen staff performance and student outcomes.
• Lead goal setting, observation, feedback, coaching, and evaluation for staff.
• Design and facilitate professional learning aligned to priorities and needs.
• Use data to identify trends, monitor progress, and inform improvements.
• Ensure consistent expectations for rigorous, engaging, and inclusive instruction.
