Job summary

San Juan Unified is recruiting for an Instructional Assistant III at Encina High School, working 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. This part-time role includes a 5% hard-to-staff stipend and benefits under the CSEA General Unit Salary Schedule.

The ideal candidate supports students with severe/emotional disturbance and related handicaps, with duties aligned to the IA III job description.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students who have learning or communicative handicaps.
• Experience with ED or autism classes and behavior support.
• Willingness to obtain a California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire.
