Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers in implementing instructional plans and adapting materials for students in the BRIDGES Program.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them engage with the curriculum and develop essential skills.
• Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback to promote positive learning experiences.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and resources, ensuring accessibility for all students.
• Support students during transitions between activities and throughout the school day, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
• Participate in meetings and professional development to enhance skills related to special education and instructional strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with teachers, parents, and staff as needed.
• Uphold school policies to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
