Qualifications

• Certification/License: PA State Certification as a School Counselor, pending or eligible for emergency certification.
• Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.
• Ability to engage in self-evaluation and professional growth.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in evaluating aptitudes and developing education and occupation plans.
• Assist in course selections and evaluating career interests.
• Assist in scheduling classes and disseminating occupational information.
• Support admissions, scholarships and employment opportunities.
• Coordinate with staff and external partners to inform students.
• Maintain records and communicate with colleges and employers as required.
• Support dropout prevention efforts and new student orientation.
