Job summary

Gresham-Barlow School District 10J is seeking a Head Coach for Girls Wrestling at Gresham High School to lead the program, supervise staff, and guide student-athletes’ development in line with district and OSAA rules.

Responsibilities include coordinating practices, budgeting, equipment, scheduling, and ensuring safety. Strong communication with parents and staff is essential; ASEP certification and valid credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in coaching high school athletics or related sport.
• Valid driver's license and insurability with fingerprinting clearance.
• Current First Aid Card and Bloodborne Pathogen Training; ASEP certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate practices and equitable use of facilities.
• Analyze and teach basic skills and strategies; communicate with parents.
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches and volunteers.
• Approve program schedules with Athletic Director.
• Enforce policies and promote sportsmanship.
• Maintain equipment and inventory; order replacements as needed.
• Manage ASB and district budgets for the sport.
• Ensure safety and supervise site operations.
