South Washington County Schools is seeking a Girls Lacrosse Assistant Coach for East Ridge High School. The position is part of a seasonal contract with dates Apr 5, 2027 to Jun 19, 2027, aligned to the Teacher's Contract Schedule C.

Responsibilities include teaching lacrosse fundamentals, strategy, and conditioning while building a positive program culture and strong ties with the school community. Commissioned under the East Ridge High School Athletics/Activities Director, the role emphasizes

Qualifications

• Desired experience in high school and/or collegiate level head coaching.
• Experience in building a comprehensive program, developing staff, and managing diverse program-wide elements.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; commitment to develop and maintain positive relationships between the Raptors Girls Lacrosse program and the local community.
• Valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications) required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize individual and team success.
• Report to Head Varsity Girls Lacrosse coach and East Ridge High School Athletics/Activities Director for performance objectives and evaluation.
• Contribute to the long-term development of the lacrosse program and positive stakeholder relationships.
