Job summary

MSAD 11 seeks a Boys Freshman Basketball Coach for Gardiner Area High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The coach will work with high school athletes and focus on teaching basketball skills and game strategies.

Required certifications include CHRC authorization, NFHS Heat Acclimatization and Concussion, CPR and First Aid, plus NFHS Coaching certification. Coaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Current CHRC authorization through the State of Maine Department of Education.
• NFHS course certification in Heat Acclimatization and Concussion; CPR and First Aid certification; NFHS Coaching certification.

Responsibilities

• Coaching experience in Basketball is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work with High School students and teach the skills and strategies of the game.
