Job summary

Onamia School District is seeking a dynamic and energetic full-time High School Float Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will provide instruction, implement lesson plans, and foster a safe, positive learning environment while focusing on equity and meeting the needs of diverse learners.

The Float Teacher will motivate student learning, maintain academic time, and perform other duties as assigned by the School Principal.

Qualifications

• Requires Minnesota licensure or eligibility to obtain one.
• Experience with diverse learners and equity-focused teaching.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and carry out lesson plans.
• Organize students for effective instruction and learning.
• Maintain classroom management for a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
